Just like many of you who are on the East coast, earlier this evening we experienced a band of thunderstorms. All campers and staff were tucked into their bunks before the storm began and everyone is doing fine. In fact, most of our younger campers were asleep before the storm began.
Although power is out in our area, our generators are hard at work and we are fully functional here at camp. Unfortunately, cable is also out in our area, so we do not have Internet access at the moment.
Please know that we will be returning emails and posting pictures from today as soon as our Internet access is back. As of right now, we still have phone service and we will do our best to keep on schedule for parent phone calls tomorrow.
UPDATE (7/9): Our Internet service has been restored, and camper-parent phonecalls are back to normal. Our generators all got a great work out and now they are awaiting the next opportunity they have to enlighten us.
