A summer at Point O’Pines is a tremendous gift that you give to your daughter. We take this gift seriously and realize the enormity of the expectations you have for your daughter’s summer experience at the Point. It is our goal to exceed those high expectations in every way. Our team of Directors oversees all aspects of your daughter’s summer and we know that above all, you are entrusting us to keep your daughter safe and secure. We take this responsibility to heart and work tirelessly to cultivate a culture of responsibility and care amongst our staff. Safeguarding your daughter’s physical, emotional, and social well-being is always at the forefront of our thoughts and guides our actions on a daily basis.
We also know that your daughter comes to camp with her own hopes and dreams about what she wants to accomplish during her summer at Point O’Pines. We strive to understand her goals and we will support her in every way possible. Whether it is learning how get up on waterskis, perfecting a tennis serve, or learning how to share her thoughts and feelings with friends, each camper has unique aspirations for her camp experience. We make sure that Point O’Pines fulfills these expectations. We hope to work with you and your daughter to understand her goals and we are always available to address any questions or concerns you may have. It has always been our mission to provide our campers with the best possible camping experience. To that end, we are continually working to improve our program, our facility, and our talented staff. As always, we welcome your thoughts and communication.
A summer at Point O’Pines is packed with endless activities, special events, continuous laughs, and most importantly deep and enduring friendships. The quality of friendships developed at Point O’Pines is always the highlight of the summer. We enjoy nurturing these friendships and watching them grow into meaningful, life long connections. We equally cherish the smiles and warmth that are evident as campers and counselors walk hand in hand or arm in arm. We are so grateful for the care and dedication exhibited by our tremendous staff members, many of whom return year after year.
There are so many extraordinary memories and friendships that develop within our camp community. These experiences will remain in your daughter’s heart always. We know that our campers cherish their Point O’Pines summers forever.
