News From The Point

Lazy Morning this Sunday started off a bit wet but the Team Captains and Lieutenants didn’t let any rain wash away their Blue and White pride. After the weather precipitated a change of events, both teams dove straight into the water, instead of just letting it mist. Campers had a blast swimming in silly relays for the team competition aquatics meet. Sailing, boating and waterskiing are still to come.

Just for fun, Brandon, today took some shots around camp with a 1916 Rainbow Hawkeye box camera. We wanted to share a few. Camp is timeless, but when this camera was new, Point O’Pines Camp was not yet built, and even Brant Lake Camp for Boys had only just been founded that summer. It still works great as you see, and will be fun for our advanced campers to try out at Photography Coaches’ Corner very soon. The film is 120 medium format Tri-X 400 and was processed today here at camp.
