CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups butter
- 1 ¼ cup sugar
- 1 ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 4 c. chocolate chips
Directions:
Mix butter and sugars. Then add the two eggs and mix well. Mix all the dry ingredients and add slowly to the mixture. Last add the chocolate chips. Let the dough rest for 20 minutes in the fridge. (DO NOT EAT IT!) Roll spheres of dough (should be about a spoonful of dough) and place on baking sheet about 2 inches apart from each other. Bake for 8-12 minutes at 350℉. Let the cookies cool and enjoy!
RUSSIAN TEA CAKES
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of butter
- 2 ½ cups of flour
- 2 egg yolks
- ½ cup of sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Powdered sugar
Directions:
Mix the sugar and butter, then add the egg yolks and mix. Once it is well mixed, add the flour slowly. Let the dough rest for about 20 mins in the fridge. Take a small amount of dough in your hand and flatten it. Add 3-6 chocolate chips in the middle and make a ball shape with it. Place the balls on a baking sheet not too close to each other. Bake for 8 -10 minutes at 350℉. Let them cool and sprinkle them with powdered sugar. Enjoy
