Today we are thinking of how lucky the Point O’Pines family is to have so much to be thankful for. We appreciate our friends, including campers, staff, parents, alumnae and our local community. We appreciate the beauty of the Point and our Adirondack mountains. We appreciate good food and time with family. Thank you all for being a part of the Point and a part of our lives.

It was great to see so many campers come together at the reunion. We were elated to see the smiles of friends together once again. We enjoyed a superb video of our summer fun and used the opportunity to say thank you to the Peak of 2014 for their leadership throughout the summer. Campers and staff, we miss you already!
We have posted photos of the reunion fun on our site. They are posted under the 2015 season once you log in.

This weekend we were back in Westchester, NY for the 2014 FARE (“Food Allergy Research & Education”) Walk for Food Allergies. Point O’Pines Camp is a sponsor of this great organization, and Brandon and Caressa got to see some of our campers there. It was also terrific this year to share our experiences of being nut free.

Last night we celebrated, cheered, hugged and cried. It was a summer to remember. We had great times, made great friends and stregthened old friendships. We learned a lot in our activities, but also about ourselves. We love you all and miss you already. Best wishes for a fabulous next few months and for a speedy return to Brant Lake.
Today we must send the Great Peak of 2014 off on the next part of their journey. You have been through so much together and grown as women. You have been able to leave a legacy of strength and group accomplishment. We have seen the huge potential you all have and are excited to see the many great things to come. Remember, we will always be your summer home.
Thank you to our terrific staff. You have given so much of yourselves to all the campers, and we appreciate you so much.
Fare well friends and don’t stay away too long!
