News From The Point

The extraordinary Peak of 2015 taught us that each chapters must end, but the story goes on.  We will miss our Peakers dearly, and there were plenty of tears shed as we wish them the very best luck in the chapters to come.  Thank you for your leadership and love, and one of the best summers yet.

At our last campfire, we remembered all that we have learned and accomplished, the fun we have had and the friends we have shared it with.  We shared our hopes and wishes for the campers of 2016.  Thank you all for being a part of Point O’Pines, and we especially want to thank our outstanding staff for their dedication and generosity of spirit giving so much to all the campers.

Already, we just can’t wait until we are together again!

Tonight we wrote a chapter in a “Neverending Story”. This Banquet was both a celebration of all the chapters in the story of our outstanding Peak of 2015, and a tribute to all that was ahead to fill the chapters yet to be written for the younger campers. At the entrance the Peakers told us that while their camp chapters were coming to a close, the Peak was excited by all the chapters yet to be written. We will truly miss you girls. What a superb banquet. Thank you all!

After a long summer of team competition filled with amazing moments from the Scavenger Hunt to last night’s White victory in Team Sing, we are so proud of both our teams.  The superb leadership and impressive effort we truly inspiring to us all.  In every good contest there is a victor and this year it is … Blue.
