Camp is empty and quiet.  For the summer, we have lived together with every moment filled with excitement in every corner of camp.  Now, we send off these lasting friendships to reunite with family at their homes, while we wait to get these great friends back together soon.

This was a summer to remember, with a group of wonderful Peakers who thoughtfully considered the hopes and loves of their fellow campers.  These Peakers who last night as the embers burned of “POP2019” voiced their hope that the Seniors would do a terrific job next summer.  Bravo, Peakers!  You really were ideal campers who have matured into such admirable young women.  How much you have learned over your years.

This summer would also not have been possible for all the campers if it were not for a fantastic staff who were so dedicated and hard working. Thank you to counselors, activity staff, area heads and our support staff for making Point O’Pines feel like home every summer.

We miss you already.  Don’t stay away too long!  We love you, Point!
