Each camper participates in a Point O’Pines program called “Stay Fit for Life.” The program is adapted to each age level and teaches things from the development of good exercise habits to making the Healthy Choice at meals. Portion control and exposure to delicious veggies and salads is an important part of this program. It incorporates so many parts of camp into a cross departmental plan. Exercise, sports, our now famous 5K run and farm to table experiences are all coupled together. Campers hopefully take away from camp experience that lasts a life time and will contribute to a positive interaction with their environment.
