Campers of the Week – Friendliness 2013
Breakout 2013 – Survivor
We are survivors. Breakout for Team Competition has begun.
There was music throughout camp. Campers thought they were preparing for Aunt Emma’s Auction, but no. Everyone knew right away it was time for Breakout 2013. The Campers ran to the basketball court and watched the Peakers start their march up the road gathering more Peakers along the way to the beach. The Peakers danced on the beach surrounded by the other excited campers. Then, the Peakers met with each group and announced the Blue and White teams. Quick team meetings introduced each camper to their team, and the first cheers of team competition filled camp. This will be a terrific summer of Team Competition. Election Night at the Point
Tonight was the election of Captains and Lieutenants for our team competition this summer. After the votes were counted, Peakers Cameron and Gabby are the team Captains and Peakers Caroline and Kelsey are the Lieutenants. Tomorrow their teams will be announced, and soon it will be time for team competition break out.
And We are Off to the Races
The summer of 2013 has begun with the leadership of a great new group of Peakers. Everyone arrived with tremendous excitement at camp. There was singing in the dining room, and then a great show tonight from the staff. Now everyone from little Pinecones to the Peakers is back in their bunks getting some rest for tomorrow’s first full day at camp. It is going to be a great summer!
