Campers of the Week – Positive Attitude 2013

Yesterday another great group of visitors came to camp. Peakers from our most recent peaks gathered to watch campers as they enjoyed activities, practiced for Team Sing and competed in the Blue and White Schultz’s Island swim. After we all had dinner together the alumnae played the campers in a Name That Tune game, and we all capped off the day with milk and cookies. Thanks for coming back home to camp. It was terrific to see you all!

Tonight we celebrated our campers and staff from Spanish-speaking cultures with a world class feast on the beach prepared by Chef Denver and our kitchen staff. Wow! Delicious. (See the menu here.)

Today many of our campers (most actually) joined together to run or walk to support the Hudson Headwaters Healthcare Network which operates 13 walk-in clinics from Glens Falls to the Canadian border. The Camp contributes to HHHN to support kids’ healthcare in the local community.
Campers trained all summer in our fitness program to qualify to run the race. There was a great turnout and some fast running. We are so proud of the participants.
