The first rays of sunshine are just breaking through the clouds about camp as the former Hurricane Sandy subsides. We experienced rain and wind but no significant damage or disruption. While at camp we were spared the worst of the storm, many of our Point O’Pines family may not of been as fortunate. Our thoughts are with all of you as you deal with the aftermath of Sandy. We know that a few of you may have suffered damage and dislocation from the storm, perhaps even major damage to your homes. We are ready and willing to be of assistance, so if we can help you please let us know.

We miss you…
What an amazing time we have had! This was a truly wonderful summer and we cannot say enough of our appreciation of all that each person brought to our camp family this year. We had a spectacular staff who were so caring and hard working. Our campers are such amazing girls who all grew in character so much this summer.
We were especially sad to see the Peak of 2012 climb onto the buses and bring all that they have learned at camp on life’s next great adventure. The Point will always be home. We look forward to seeing all that you will accomplish. We love you always.

Banquet 2012 and Awards
This year’s Banquet was themed, planned and put on by the amazing Peak of 2012. Thank you to this wonderful group of young women. This year’s theme was “Be Who You Wanna Be!,” and featured every little girl’s old favorite toy in her many possibilities in life.
This year we recognized the accomplishments of some particularly outstanding campers both this year and over their history at Point O’Pines. We want to share our pride in their accomplishment with you.

Congratulations to both White and Blue for a great summer of team competition. You worked so hard and showed such great friendship and sportsmanship through it all. Well done!
Team Sing was Won by…White
Last night we watched two dedicated teams singing beautifully. Thank you for a wonderful sing. While it was close, the winner was the White Team. Congratulations to both teams on their hard work and sweet singing!
