As we sit to enjoy our family time, we are also thinking of all of you.  We hope you are sharing the best time with your loved ones today.  We want you to know how much we appreciate all our campers, their wonderful parents, our dedicated staff and the rest of our camp community.  Have a great day, and we can’t wait until the next time we get to see you!

What a group!  We love it when we can be together.  So many smiles and hugs.  We enjoyed fun activities including Aunt Emma’s Auction, a fabulous summer video (thank you team video!), and autographed an outstanding yearbook (thanks, photo).  It was especially fun spending time to appreciate the mighty Peak of 2017.  We love you!

Just last night we all gathered around the campfire together to share our wishes for the summer of 2018, and burned and buried their ashes for our first campfire 2018. We are so excited already for next summer, but we are also so bittersweet missing our fantastic Peak 2017. What an amazing summer they led! We have spend so many years watching you grow and flourish, and we are so excited to hear about your bright futures. We will always love you.

We thank our staff for committing all their energy into the children’s summer. You have been inspiring to the girls as you teach them skills in activities, in the bunk and for their lives. Get some well deserved rest, and get set for 2018.

Banquet 2017 was the Hall of Fame, featuring the great Peak of 2017. This Peak, though modest in number, is large in spirit and their impact inspires the younger campers. We have watched as they have grown up and will miss them dearly. Know that you always have a place in our “Hall of Fame.”

Banquet is also the time to recognize the truly outstanding campers with awards both for this year and for their entire history at Point O’Pines Camp. We are so very proud of them and hope you will be too.

What a great Team Competition we had this summer. Thanks to great leaders in the Peak and for some amazing talent we saw. This summer the winner is…Blue!
