News From The Point

Senior House has been busy preparing for an amazing summer! The Peakers pulled off a fantastic breakout and the Seniors had a really great time at Great Escape. The weather has been so nice, so both age groups have enjoyed boat rides around Brant Lake for evening activity. The Seniors and Peakers are now getting ready for Point O’Ritz. Wish us luck!

It has been a great beginning of camp! All the campers are now settled in their bunks and ready to have the best summer ever! So far the kids have had a blast in all the activities. Aunt Emma’s Auction as well as Counselor’s Hunt were amazing. Soon we will know our blue and white teams and then the real fun will begin!

The Junior As are doing wonderfully.  They have all passed their deep water swim test, and are enjoying their new summer schedules.  We just had Aunt Emma’s Auction.  It was the girls’ favorite activity thus far.  Stay tuned for more exciting news from the Junior As.

The Inter Bs just had their first Farm and Fitness session today! The girls played team-building games, toured the green house and organic garden, and completed the brand new fitness obstacle course! We had a blast!

Sub summer is off to a great start! The girls have settled into their bunks and are getting to know their counselors. We’ve had some great evening activities like The Counselor Welcome Show, Elections and First Campfire. They also had their first social with the Brant Lake Camp boys.

Yesterday the girls had their first Sub Night meeting to begin planning their big night.  Each bunk came up with some awesome ideas. With an almost unanimous vote they decided on their theme!! The girls are beyond excited to start choosing leaders and committees.

The girls are also anxiously awaiting Breakout this week so they can find out if they are on the blue or white team and finally get team competition started! Many of the girls have begun training for the 5K and some of the team competition events like the Swim to Schultz’s.
